The suburb of Inglewood is an established inner suburb approximately 5 kilometres north east of the Perth CBD. The suburb was apparently named after the Norwegian barque Inglewood which voyaged to Fremantle, Western Australia during the 1890s.

Jacarandas in Full Bloom

Many of the older suburbs in Perth have their streets lined with lovely Jacaranda trees. Their trademark purple blossoms are a feast to the eye each spring as they herald the beginning of a season and continue on into summer with scorching century heat temperatures. As the end of the season nears, the Jacarandas create a lovely carpet of purple blossoms on the ground.

Glorious Sun, Surf and Food at Cottesloe Beach

The suburb of Cottesloe is a wealthy one in the western suburbs of Perth, bordered by the Indian Ocean coast on one side and a main road, Stirling Highway, on the other. But the particularly nice thing about Cottesloe is although it's home to many of the wealthier inhabitants of Perth, it's still a place where all locals and visitors alike can go for a casual and relaxed day out. By far the most famous part of Cottesloe is Cottesloe Beach.
