Go Vegetarian, Be Green is the motto of the One World Cuisine Restaurant. So much so that the restaurant offers patrons a free feed or a meal by donation in order to encourage patrons to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle and accordingly aim to reduce their carbon footprint.

One World is located at the Kardinya Park Shopping Centre nearest to Super IGA. The concept of meals by donation has been running since April 2008. Prior to that, it was offering set price menus.

If you enjoy vegetarian fare, you will find the food at One World fresh and tasty. The food is suitable for vegans.

On the menu are the likes of sweet and sour chicken and pork, tom yum rice, beef curry with potatoes, crumbed fish fillets straight out of the hot pan, gado gado - a selection of steamed vegetables and tofu pieces with an accompanying peanut satay sauce, stir fried vegetables, stir fried noodles, and freshly cooked steamed rice. You can also help yourself to green tea and refreshing cold water with a dash of lemon.

Feel like a browse for books or to shop for groceries whilst having a break from gastronomic delights? One corner of the restaurant is set up as a library with a range of books and literature on vegetarian cooking, and a lounge area to watch programs. The other side of the restaurant has freezers stocked with all manner of mock meats including ham, chicken, and fish. There are also other products on offer including sashimi, vegie burgers, soy nuggets, and tempura balls.

Dinner trade is a full on buffet affair with 18 dishes on offer including a range of mains and dessert treats. Bookings for dinner are recommended. For lunch time trade, just drop in.
