If you are looking to visit a place in Perth that is rich in Aboriginal culture, then Yanchep National Park is where you should head. Set against a beautiful backdrop of a river and woodlands, the park is located 42 km north of Perth. With kangaroos, swans, parrots and kookaburras in abundance, this is a place that you won’t want to miss.

Lancelin is a small fishing town nestled between the ocean and sand dunes located around 127 kilometres north of Perth. The town is very small and is very popular for its oceanic views, beaches and sand dunes. My friends and I decided to visit the sand dunes in Lancelin and try out some snowboarding during the long weekend.
