Explore the Wilderness in Walpole
Located along the north side of the Walpole Inlet, this small country town offers countless attractions for anyone enthusiastic about or even marginally interested in the outdoors. To get to Walpole, drive south from Perth along the South Western Highway for about 420km or head east from Demark for 65km.

Exmouth – The Northern Gateway to Ningaloo Reef
Exmouth is considered one of Western Australia’s top tourist destinations as it is home to the famous Ningaloo Reef, has magnificent marine wildlife, raw landscape and is warm for most of the year.
Ningaloo Reef stretches approximately 260 km from Coral Bay in the south to Exmouth in the north and takes in 5,000 square km of ocean amass with tropical fish, whales, turtles and coral.
The reef is so popular because you can snorkel and dive straight from the beach without having to take a boat ride out to the deep.

Swimming with the Dolphins in Rockingham – Up, Close and Personal
The day had finally arrived for my swim with the dolphins adventure, and the Perth weather was perfect – a bright and sunny day with not a cloud in the sky.
My adventure with the dolphins started in darkness however, as I had set my alarm clock for an early wake up call to get to my pick up point before 7am. My chosen pick up point was the Wellington Street Coach Tourist Stand in the Perth CBD.

Maylands Steps It Up as a Trendy Café Strip
Maylands - an inner city suburb located on the eastern side of Perth, is approximately 4 kilometres from the Perth CBD. Its local café strip on Eighth Avenue has seen interesting changes over the last few years, and has been transformed from a relatively quiet area to a bustling and thriving café strip.
Eighth Avenue offers an interesting and eclectic mix of retail shops and eateries. Browsing the strip, you’ll find restaurants offering tasty culinary delights from all over the world, trendy cafes, specialised retail shops, and essential services.

Work and Travel in Australia – Office Culture, Beer O’Clock and More
If you’re planning to work in Australia either temporarily or permanently, you’ll want to familiarise yourself with the Australian work culture. Some people will find it similar to previous work environments they’ve experienced, while others will find things very foreign. The type of work you do will influence the type of atmosphere you experience to a degree, but the general basics of the work culture will be the same.
My partner and I worked several different jobs while travelling around Australia with the majority of our work being in Perth.
