Lancelin is a beautiful sea side town around one hour from Perth, and makes for an easy day trip north up the coast of Western Australia. Keep going up the coast and you may just find yourself in Exmouth or even Broome!

Review of Xavier Toby – White Trash at the Perth Fringe Festival 2013
My partner and I headed out to the Perth Fringe Festival on Thursday night to check out Xavier Toby's comedy act, titled White Trash. With its focus on racism amongst ourselves, our family and friends, and Australia as a whole, I was interested to see how Xavier would tackle this touchy topic while still attempting to get a laugh from the audience.

I am one of those people who are lucky enough to live in Applecross. It is the best location in Perth, and I love being a 15 minute train and walk from the city, a 30 minute bus ride to Fremantle and five minutes from the river. But one of the best things about living in Applecross is the wonderful fact that I am within walking distance to Applecross Village on Ardross Street.
