Spring and Autumn are the best times for bushwalking in Perth as
it is mid weather for enjoying the outdoors and not too hot or cold.
Spring is from September to November, and Autumn is from March to
May. As with any bushwalking venture, it is best to bring the essentials
of a compass, first aid kit, plenty of water and to be suitably
attired.
As
you walk the Kalamunda Circuit, you will pass through a mixture
of flora including Eucalypts, Dryandra, Grass trees, Acacias and
Banksias. For those with an interest in wildflowers, you should
be able to spot some colourful wildflowers on your walk. And off
course, for keen birdwatchers, there are usually some birds to identify,
or hear! These little birds can be exceedingly noisy!
