The Hyde Park Community Fair is on this Labour Day long weekend.

It’s one of the longest running free community events in Perth and is a great day out for the whole family to enjoy.

What’s on at the Hyde Park Community Fair?

Browse arts and crafts and market stalls dotted around the lake;

Watch the live entertainment on stage including performances by local musicians;

Enjoy a tasty meal or snack from the pop up food vans.

Participate in activities like Yoga in the Park;

Check out the latest from the lifestyle, health, local business and community stalls – catch up on environment issues at the “Green Zone” sustainable living displays;

Car and motorbike show – including the Tesla car display by the Australian Electric Automobile Club of WA

Quench your thirst with locally crafted beer, wine and cider from the pop up bar at the designated Barrel and Brews area;

Browse stalls which will be open for the twilight evening markets part of the Fair till 8pm on Sunday evening.

For the kids, there will be plenty of free activities to keep them entertained including face painting, amusement fair rides, an animal farm, and the “Help us find the Smurfs: The Lost Village!” activities trail. Kids who enter the competition can win some awesome Smurfy prizes including tickets to the latest movie!

Lastly but not least – it’s a dog friendly event.

Location: Hyde Park, Glendower Street, William Street & Vincent Street, North Perth

Dates: Sunday 5 March and Monday 6 March, 2017, from 9am

Organisers: Rotary Club of North Perth & City of Vincent

Cost: Free / By gold coin donation

Getting there: There is limited parking around the vicinity of the Fair. Catch public transport, ride or walk to the Fair.
